This month, Jordin Sparks will start recording for her sophomore album still under Jive Records. Expected release will be in summer of 2009. She may not be releasing a 4th single off her first album, although Freeze has been added to radio in Australia.Planned collaborations include Jesse McCartney, Leona Lewis, and David Archuleta.
Her debut, Jordin Sparks sold 119,000 on its' first week and peaked at #10 of Billboard 200. As of writing, it has sold 984,000 and has been officially certified Platinum in the US.
